Pcollege applicationeerForward is excited to announce a new partnership with the Expanded Success Initiative (ESI) in New York City. An initiative of the New York City Department of Education since 2011, ESI is dedicated to improving educational outcomes for Black and Latino young men in the NYC public school system. We will bring PeerForward to 11 schools in the ESI network in the 2017-18 school year.

We celebrated the partnership this week in New York City, with ESI Director Paul Forbes and ESI Associate Director Camille Kinlock, along with two other organizations, BROS and Umoja, that also support ESI. PeerForward will fulfill a need for peer-to-peer mobilization for planning for and succeeding in higher education. Students from the 11 schools will attend our transformational workshops this summer to be trained not only in the college application process, but also how to inspire, influence, and assist their classmates and friends to pursue higher education. We look forward to seeing what the amazing young men of ESI will accomplish in the coming year.
