On Wednesday, September 24th, PeerForward’s Bermuda Fall Training Camp was held at Bermuda College. Our Peer Leaders from CedarBridge Academy and the Berkley Institute, along with their Advisors, were in attendance to hone their leadership skills and learn how they can best support their peers as the year progresses.
The Training Camp was not the only important Bermuda-based PeerForward occasion that occurred. We were lucky enough to have a number of representatives from the PeerForward leadership team touch down on the island to attend a slew of events all throughout that week from goal setting meetings to a Financial Literacy Summit.

We caught up with PeerForward’s Associate Director of Post-Secondary Success and our designated Bermuda Coach, Tim Spicer, where he shared the following sentiments about our organization’s work in Bermuda, specifically relating to the powerful week he had on the island with his fellow members of the PeerForward leadership team:
“Our work in Bermuda amplified student leadership and collaboration across the island. By spending time in schools and partnering with the Centennial Foundation, we helped Peer Leaders plan strategically for success—culminating in a Fall Training Camp at Bermuda College and a Financial Literacy Summit that empowered 25 students through direct engagement with keynote speakers.”
We are so grateful for our amazing Bermuda partners, The Mirrors Programme and The Centennial Foundation, for making our work on the island possible. Having the opportunity to train and connect with our Bermuda Peer Leaders and Advisors over the course of a week was an unforgettable experience for our all of our attending staff. We look forward to continuing our work in the beautiful country of Bermuda!
