We’re continuing our graduation spotlights today with Alumni Gabriela Villa-Ramos!
Gabriela, a first generation college student, recently graduated with a B.S. in Business Management & Economics and a minor in psychology from University of California Merced! When asked about what earning this degree means to her, this is what she shared:
“Earning this college degree means so much more to me than just completing a set of courses. It represents years of my hard work, perseverance, and personal growth. It’s a symbol of overcoming challenges, balancing responsibilities, and pushing forward even when things felt overwhelming. This degree is not just for me but for my family, and everyone who believed in me. It opens doors to new opportunities and serves as a reminder that I am capable of achieving my goals, no matter how difficult the journey may seem.”
