This Teacher Appreciation Week, we want to take the time to thank our PeerForward Advisors from Bowie High School, Mr. James Hargraves and Mr. Lennon Moore!
Together, they have inspired, supported, and led countless students as they embarked on their Peer Leader journey. After 9 years of service, the duo is retiring from advising. However, their influence on our organization will remain.
Peer Leaders, Alumni, staff, and fellow Advisors alike speak highly of two, recognizing the passion they have for supporting the next generation of leaders. The PeerForward marketing team had the opportunity to speak with one of the duo’s past Peer Leaders, Jeniya Taylor. She shared the following heartfelt sentimates about her former Advisors:
“I absolutely adored Mr. Hargreaves and Mr. Moore. They were so amazing at making sure they were shaping me not only as a student but as a young adult for my future. They way that they guided the program, I truly felt led and empowered and I think it’s help me become the individual that I am today. They were such nurturing and guiding forces that PeerForward would just not be the same without them.” – Jeniya Taylor
