I didn’t think that college would be an option for me. Life hadn’t really offered me much by that point.
Becoming a Peer Leader changed all that. I graduated from high school and got my Bachelors in Psychology and Criminal Justice from Marshall University’s Honors College, graduating Cum Laude with a 3.4 GPA.
Without College Summit, I’m not sure I would have made it to college at all, let alone be graduating and attending law school. I’ve had constant support throughout my college career from other Peer Leaders, Alumni and College Summit staff.
I just started my first year at Capital Law School! I am so much more confident speaking in front of crowds and trusting myself to take the lead in group settings, both skills I feel will help me as a future attorney. I plan on volunteering this summer and then, for the rest of forever.
